Our Projects
In the Eco-Maniacs club, you can assure yourself that you'll be having a ton of fun while doing work. We conduct a variety of projects during every season.
Road and beach clean-ups are some of our more popular activities. Beach clean-ups occur twice every year; once in the fall, and once in the spring. The beach we choose to go to may vary from time to time. We clean up the same road year after year. All the dates and locations of the clean ups will be given out in meetings.
In addition to the clean-ups, we conduct educational programs at other environmental centers, set up craft booths at community events, and go on multiple different field trips. These field trips can be whitewater rafting, snow tubing, ice skating, or even a treetops zip-line course!
Road Clean-Ups
Every year, we clean the same road. In fact, we own a sign on that road presented to us by the town for our work.
Hiking
We tend to go hiking at least once an year if enough members are able to attend.
White-Water Rafting
One of our field trips was whitewater rafting, and it was a thrilling experience.
